About Me

I bring together chiropractic, functional medicine and first-hand experience as a competitive athlete to help people better understand their health, movement and performance.

My interest in healthcare began with conventional medicine, but during my studies I became increasingly interested in looking beyond individual symptoms to understand the wider factors that can influence how someone feels and functions.

This led me to chiropractic and subsequently functional medicine, where I could take a more whole-person approach – considering the interaction between physical function, the nervous system, gut health, nutrition, hormones, lifestyle, recovery and overall health.

I work as part of the multidisciplinary team at Functional Medicine Wimbledon, alongside Dr Daniela Mo and our specialist dietitians.

How I Work

I believe that good health and good physical performance are closely connected.

Rather than looking at one symptom or body system in isolation, I take time to understand the bigger picture -including your health history, current symptoms, movement and physical function, nutrition, training, sleep, stress, recovery and personal goals.

Where appropriate, I may recommend further investigations or functional testing. You also have access to the wider FMW team, with internal referral to Dr Daniela Mo for medical assessment, doctor-led input and review of relevant results, and to our dietitians where more specialist nutritional intervention is required.

This collaborative approach allows me to remain closely involved in your overall plan while drawing on the expertise of the wider team when needed.

Areas of Expertise

As a GB age-group triathlete, I have a particular interest in helping recreational and competitive athletes understand the health factors that may be affecting their ability to train, recover and perform.

Sometimes the issue isn’t simply training harder. You may be struggling with persistent gut symptoms, recurrent illness, low energy, iron deficiency or anaemia, inflammation, hormonal concerns, poor recovery, bone-health concerns or inadequate fuelling.

Through the FMW Sports Hub, I work with athletes to explore these underlying factors and develop a more personalised approach to health and performance.

Support may include:

  • Gut health and digestive concerns
  • Fuelling for training, recovery and competition
  • Identifying possible under-fuelling and nutritional gaps
  • Iron status, anaemia and other nutritional deficiencies
  • Hormonal and metabolic health
  • Inflammation and recovery
  • Bone health
  • Sleep, stress and resilience
  • Personalised nutrition strategies
  • Musculoskeletal health and physical function
  • Chiropractic care and dry needling where appropriate

Where more specialist nutritional support is needed, for example, a structured gut restoration programme or correction of nutritional deficiencies, I work alongside the FMW dietitians. Personalised sports nutrition and fuelling strategies can also be reviewed with the dietetic team.

For athletes requiring medical or doctor-led input, Dr Daniela Mo is available to provide medical assessment, review relevant investigations and help guide the wider care plan. Where additional musculoskeletal or specialist support is needed, the team can also help facilitate referral to physiotherapy or an appropriate medical specialist.

You don’t need to be an elite athlete to work with me.

My approach can also suit active people who want to understand why they aren’t feeling or functioning as well as they would like, whether that’s persistent digestive symptoms, low energy, poor recovery, musculoskeletal problems or simply feeling that your body isn’t keeping up with the demands of work, family and exercise.

My aim is practical: to help you build the health and physical capacity you need to do more of the things that matter to you.

  • Chiropractic qualifications
  • Functional medicine training
  • Institute for Functional Medicine training, currently in progress
  • Dry needling training
  • GB age-group triathlete

I compete internationally in age-group triathlon for Great Britain, but sport didn’t always come naturally to me.

After coming last at a school sports day, I took up swimming and running, and within a year was competing at national finals. That experience helped shape an outlook I still carry today: with the right support, consistency and willingness to challenge ourselves, we can often achieve considerably more than we expect.

My own experience as an athlete gives me a particular appreciation of the balance between training, nutrition, recovery, resilience and long-term health.

Outside the clinic and triathlon, I am happiest outdoors. My rather impressive collection of interests includes mountain biking, surfing, rowing, climbing, Thai boxing, camping, skiing, sailing, fencing, archery and horse archery – with even a little jousting thrown in!

And when I’m sitting still, you’ll often find me studying human biology and herbal medicine.
